Online game company Nexon, the publisher behind side-scrolling MMO MapleStory, has entered into a strategic partnership with toys-to-life outfit PlayFusion. 

Founded in 2015 by former members of Runescape developer Jagex, PlayFusion has developed its own propriety tech platform that "fuses video games, robotics, toys, and transmedia entertainment."

Q Entertainment founder Shuji Utsumi is the new CEO of Sega of America and Sega Europe.

Utsumi will also serve as the president and COO of those subsidiaries, having spent the past year steering the company's global consumer game and transmedia division as co-COO and president.

The veteran exec has been with Sega since May 2019 but had a previous stint with the company during the late '90s, initially joining as VP of product development.

Prior to that, Utsumi worked at Sony Computer Entertainment America and was notably one of the first three members of the U.S. division. He spent three years at the PlayStation maker as VP of product acqusition where he also oversaw business planning, and third-party relations.

Natasha Lyonne, known for her roles on Russian Doll and Orange is the New Black, is joining the cast for Marvel’s upcoming The Fantastic Four movie, according to Deadline. There is no word yet on who Lyonne will play in the film, however.

She joins a cast that already includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson as Galactus. John Malkovich and Paul Walter-Hauser are also set to appear in the movie.

WandaVision’s Matt Shakman is directing The Fantastic Four. Production on the superhero movie is expected to start this summer. The Fantastic Four is slated for release on July 25, 2025.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services witnessed a share price decline of over 7% in early trading on Tuesday following the revelation of a fraud worth Rs 150 crore detected at one of its branches in the North East region.
